Health message

In advertisements disseminated by means of written media, the message of a health nature must, in order to be clearly legible and visible, be mentioned:

  • Exclusively in horizontal type
  • In bold type, in a color that contrasts with the background of the message, with no letter less than 1/100th of the sum of the height/width of the advertisement under consideration. However, the size and type size may be adapted for legibility reasons related to the size of the medium
  • With an offset from the edges of the ad of at least twice the height of the letters. However, this offset may be reduced for legibility reasons related to the size of the medium
  • And be expressed in the formula "Alcohol abuse is dangerous to health, consume in moderation". However, the formula may be reduced to the first part of the sentence for reasons related to the size of the medium.
  • In broadcast advertisements, the health message is expressed in the formula "For your health, beware of alcohol abuse"

Advertising materials

Advertisers strictly adhere to current regulations regarding the media permitted for advertising.
